Other Cookbooks
There are other cookbooks that you should have if you're going to learn to
cook properly. These are my favorites
Chef Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen
You can get a used copy of this for a couple of bux! It will tell you all
you need to know about rouix, gumbo, Cajun broth, and lots of other interesting
Cajun secrets. Every cook should have a copy!!
The Way to Cook
Only Julia Child could be egotistical enuf to title a book like
this!! But it is a wonderful book -- cost $50 in hardcover, when it
first came out. My daughter found a cheaper copy at Wally-World. If
you really want to learn to cook, you should check out the video tapes/DVD's
from the library, and watch them as you read the book. Julia really does
make cooking pretty simple and she's such a hoot to watch!!
EXTRA.
I thought I'd find a clip of Julia on YouTube. Instead, I found this
parody from the Kramp (?Kraft?) TV Kitchen.
