Good Time Music

I formed my first band in 1949 (the Honolulu Hot Rocks) and I've been doing that ever since.  From Arizona, to Kansas, to California, to Colorado, I played C&W, Jazz, "Mickey" (society music) and Trad on Guitar, Banjo and Bass.  I sing "tolerable well" -- and can sell a song pretty well.  Some people (well. a few) actually told me they like my singing. <hee, hee... no accounting for taste, eh?>

I put bands together for specific occasions, for folks with limited budgets.  The Green Giants was a band I put together to play "fun music."

The Four Deuces Saloon in Tombstone was a wonderful place to play for the band called

"Rick Jolley and the Paradise Prospectors"

For a myriad of complex reasons, I quit, the band mutinied, and still plays on Tuesday night, with NO name and NO lead guitar.

Doc Diamond calls them "the mob."
