Blazing Saddles (1974)The 70's were a black hole for Westerns. <pun intended> The working title for BS was "Black Bart" -- Cleavon Little plays "Bart" -- a black sheriff. The jokes are wonderfully Politically Incorrect. YouTube is full of jokes and great scenes to remember. A couple of my favorites: Lyle (Burton Gilliam) tries to get the colored workers to sing a work song. Burton actually has a pretty good voice-- something we never heard in all of his many bad guy roles. This scene is a pretty nifty way to introduce Cleavon Little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPcLPzItOQs I'm sure you will find plenty of other great scenes from the movie if you look around there.
